Galvanised Clout Nails are the ideal nail for roofers and carpenters where a larger head is required. Clout nails are often referred to as roofing nails or slate nails for this reason. They are manufactured with a short nail with a larger head than round wire nails.

Galvanised clout headed nails are the most most popular nail for fixing roofing membranes, roof felt, roof shingles, asphalt tiles an slate tiles to roof battens. The longer clout nails are ideal for most roofing tiles. The nails are strong, good value and resistant to rust and corrosion due to the zinc coating added through the galvanisation process.
